February 2026 Update
Dear friends,
From the bottom of our hearts, we thank God for each of you — for your prayerful, financial, and
personal support of our ministry. It is a great blessing for us to walk this path together with you and
to be co-laborers in God’s work.
We warmly congratulate you during the past holidays and the beginning of the New Year.
May the Lord fill your homes with peace, hope, and His abiding presence.
The year 2025 was not easy. In the midst of war, together with you, we were able to accomplish
much. Thanks to your support, we served people who lost their homes and loved ones, helped
children and families facing difficult circumstances, and made trips close to the front lines — where
the need for food, warm clothing, hot meals, and spiritual encouragement is especially urgent. In all
of this, we clearly saw God’s hand and your faithful partnership.
One of the greatest blessings of the year was the opening of a new church — “Ark of Hope.” Today,
more than 100 people of different ages regularly attend the church. Many are internally displaced
persons and people searching for hope, comfort, and answers. We see how God is healing hearts and
giving people a new beginning.
Our desire is that 2026 would become a year of Hope and closeness with God for these people —
that many would come to faith in Jesus Christ and find a firm foundation for their lives in Him.
In the new year, we continue the project “Two Loaves,” believing that people need both physical
bread and the Bread of Life — God’s Word. Our mission remains the same: to bring practical help
and the light of the Gospel, especially to people living in frontline areas.
Sadly, 2026 began very difficultly for Ukraine. Destroyed energy infrastructure and severe winter
conditions are plunging the country into cold and darkness. We cannot remain on the sidelines.
Thanks to the support of friends and churches from the United States, we have already begun
purchasing firewood for families left without heat.
We kindly ask you to support us in prayer:
- For God’s protection over Ukraine and strength to endure this winter.
- For a long-awaited and just peace for our nation.
- That the light of God’s hope would dispel the darkness in people’s hearts.
We sincerely thank you for standing with us in this difficult time. Your support is a
great encouragement to us.
With deep gratitude and love,
your friends — “The Ark Singers” and SMO Mission
