Our Center for Assistance to Refugees

According to UN experts since the beginning of the war, more than 14 million Ukrainians have become refugees. About 6 million people left the country, 8 million became migrants throughout Ukraine. We as mission realized that we needed a humanitarian center in a safer region of Ukraine, which can be reached during daylight hours, before dark, before the curfew. The city of Khmelnitsky became such a place. A place that can be reached in a day from any part of Ukraine. A place where you can spend the night, relax and move on. The place where we could unload and load humanitarian aid. Today it is called the Center for Assistance to Refugees. Some help from here goes to the east of Ukraine, but most of it get to the refugees who temporarily live in Khmelnitsky and cannot come back home. In May 2022, the center was officially opened. In our center, people can get the most necessary things for life: food packages, medicines, hygiene products, dishes, bedding, clothes, shoes. They can also receive a Bible as a gift, get answers to questions about God. From May 2022 to February 2023, we have already given out about 6,000 food packages with an average weight of 8-10 kg each, with a total weight of about 60 tons of food. Since July, meetings and communication on spiritual topics have been held in the center for women only. Such meetings are also planned for men. Our Center for Assistance to Refugees with God’s help will work until the war will be over, or until there will be a need for it.
