The time before the start of the camps in the Christian spiritual center “Hope” is always full of scurry and worries. This year, from June the 15th to June the 19th, the staff of “Hope for the East” mission, together with the youth from villages, where the “Hope for the East” mission conducts its spiritual work, hold a labor camp. This is the first camp this season. The task was to prepare the territory and buildings for the planned camps in this year, as well as to testify to the young people about the love of God and answer their questions. For a half-day everyone worked: the buildings, territory, elements of the program for coming camps were prepared, and a football field was renewed, where it was necessary to distribute 35 tons of sand and concrete 12 metal pillars to fence the field. It was not an easy job for young people, who were few in number, and the sand was wet due to the regular rains. But thank God everything worked out. There were about 70 young people in the camp, most of them were 14-15 years old teenagers, and most of them were girls. There were only 27 boys. The second half of the day was devoted to sports, competitions and hobby groups: soap making, painting, leather crafts and photo lessons. At the end of each day, there were a youth service with Christian songs and a little preaching with questions and answers. Thank God, the goal has been achieved!!! The camp is ready to receive people, the youth heard a lot about the love of Christ, there were 5 repentances. God is good! Glory to Him for what we have, for our privilege to be a part of His team!!!
